The article describes the chemical properties of nickel-phosphide coatings. Nickel-phosphide coating is widely used in obtaining resistant, protective and protective-decorative coatings. In the case of chemical nickel plating on parts with complex configurations, it is possible to obtain coatings with a smooth surface. The presence of phosphorus in the composition of the nickel-phosphide coating, provides them with durable, corrosion and impact-resistant properties, so the nickel-phosphide coating is widely used in industry. Ligands, buffer solutions, stabilizers, glossy additives and so on are added to the solution of chemical nickel plating. The article presents the technological scheme of production of nickel phosphide and the process according to this scheme is fully described. And also shows the results of technological calculations. In particular, calculations were made on the basic and additional installations and equipment, the cost of chemicals. The dimensions of the bath and suspension for the process of obtaining a nickel-phosphide coating are determined.
