Abstract

In recent years, the demand for vegetable oils and oil extracts in the pharmaceutical industry has been increasing significantly. The lipid complexes obtained from plant parts contain a balanced composition of valuable biologically active compounds such as tocopherols, carotenoids, phytosterols, phospholipids and glycolipids. In addition, natural lipids are a constantly renewing source of natural raw materials.

In this regard, research was conducted to determine and evaluate the physicochemical indicators characterizing the quality of various vegetable oils and oil extracts. During the study, the amount of biologically active substances in their composition was determined, the active components of oils and their stability during storage were considered. At the same time, the dynamics of qualitative changes in the lipid complex in the composition of oils during storage was studied.

Based on the results obtained, work was carried out to scientifically substantiate the differences between the indicators recommended by manufacturers and pharmacopoeial requirements regarding the shelf life of vegetable oils and oil extracts. The experimental results showed that the quality of the lipid complex of oils and oil mixtures gradually decreases during the storage process.
